Uncapping tank is used to place the honeycomb which has been shaken honey by the honey extractor. The uncapping tank will filter and collect honey in case of honey outflow, resulting in waste.
Product Introduction:
- The Uncapping Tank is the perfect tool for uncapping honeycomb frames before they are loaded into a honey extractor. Simply place the frames into the tank and use the built-in uncapping tray to remove the wax caps from the honeycomb cells. The uncapped frames can then be loaded into the extractor, while the wax caps collect in the bottom of the tank for easy disposal.
- One of the standout features of our Uncapping Tank is its large capacity, which allows for multiple frames to be uncapped at once, saving time and increasing productivity. The tank also comes with a built-in heating element, which helps to soften the wax caps for easier removal.
Working Principle:
- Frame Placement: The honeycomb frames, filled with honey, are placed on a support structure within the uncapping tank. The frames are positioned vertically or angled to allow easy access to both sides.

- Wax Separation: Once the wax cappings are removed, they may accumulate at the bottom or float on top of the tank. The tank may have specific compartments or filters to separate the wax from the honey.
- Honey Drainage: The honey liberated from the wax cappings flows down into a collection trough or drain within the tank. From there, it can be directed into honey storage containers or further processing equipment.
- Wax Recovery: Depending on the system, the recovered wax cappings can be collected and processed separately to obtain beeswax for various applications.
